Enterprise is an environmentally friendly, clean, safe sustainable community with manageable growth. It is known as the “Gateway to the NWT.” with a population of about 108 people. The Hamlet of Enterprise strives to maintain and enhance the quality of life and our self sufficiency by being open in our communication with the public, and promoting healthy growth of our children, our families, our businesses and a safe community while remaining efficient and accountable. The hamlet is located about 90 kilometers into the NWT from the Alberta Border, along the Mackenzie Highway at the turnoff to Hay River.

Bylaw #2012-07 Business Licencing
The Hamlet Council gave 1st and 2nd reading to the revised Business Licencing Bylaw at the May 7 Council Meeting. The Bylaw will receive 3rd and final reading on July 9. Please provide any feedback and comments to the office not later than July 4, 2012.
